I'm so glad you're here. My name is Matt Shenk, the Founder of Hellslayer Heating Company. We're the barbecue company that fights loneliness by providing products that will turn you into everyone’s favorite grill master and helps forge friendships around the backyard barbecue. A portion of our profits go to organizations combating evils in this world.

Hellslayer Heating Company is based in Richmond, VA. Native Americans have been barbecuing in Virginia for thousands of years. Colonists in the 1600s were influenced by them, as well as people in the West Indies who were roasting whole hogs. While Virginia barbecue has a rich history, I love that we're not too tied down to any one barbecue tradition. Barbecue enthusiasts in Virginia have learned like others around the world that your geography doesn't matter. Anyone, anywhere, can learn to make amazingly delicious food by grilling and smoking meats in their backyards... and it's even better when doing so with friends.

The Hellslayer journey began out of a frustration of mine. While I enjoy mixing my own spice rubs, I also appreciate the convenience of buying pre-made ones. I would go to the grocery store, and see the shelves lined with rubs that had no meaning to me and that I couldn't relate to. Barbecuing and grilling is awesome, and it's fun. Your bbq products should be, too. Barbecue can also have a greater purpose beyond simply making food. Barbecues bring people together and forge friendships. There are a lot of evils in this world, and I believe that loneliness is one of them. Another evil we face in this world is greed.

I believe that businesses can make enough money for their employees to live well, make a good return for their investors, and still give back to society and make the world a better place. That's why Hellslayer Heating Company is committed to giving away a portion of our profits to non-profit organizations that fight evil on a daily basis.
